FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dichloropyridone-4. Reagent 1: 2,6-dimethyl-4(14)-pyridone. Reagent 2: sodium chloride. Reaction conditions: electrolysis in diaphragm electrolyzer on hydroxyruthenium-titanium anode at anode current density 15-20 A/l, at 15-20 C and pH = 9, at reagent 1 and 2 concentrations 5-20 and 200-300 g/l, respectively, at condition of the batch feeding reagents and NaOH or Na2CO3 aqueous solutions in anode electrolyte. Synthesized compound is used for treatment and prophylaxis of coccidiosis in industrial poultry farming. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 dwg
