METHOD OF CONSERVATION OF GREEN FODDER Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A23K3/00 A23K3/02 A23K3/03

Abstract RU 2332855 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of conservation of green fodder, consists of crushing of the feed stock, adding into it a preservative - anolyte obtained by the electro-processing under the temperature of 20-30°C, the solution of table salt with concentration 4-5 g/l in the installation of the type "СТЭЛ" in a flowing mode with speed of the flowing of the anolyte and catholyte 4.5-5.5 l/h with the inter-electrode clearance of 4 mm at the density of the current on the anode 600-800 A/m2, at the strength of the current 2-3 A, with the expenditure of the anolyte 12 g or the anolyte 12 g in a mixture with 0.1g of potassium iodide for 1 kg of green mass of fodders, packing, hermetic sealing, storage. The method allows to obtain a silo which does not contain an undesirable component - butyric acid, but contains more than the prototype of a useful component - lactic acid at 1-2%.

EFFECT: continuous process of electro-processing with lower expenditures of sodium chloride and electric power.
