FIELD: storage and transportation of articles, mainly machine guns with accessories. SUBSTANCE: container has box-shaped frame and cover. Support members with seats for stowing articles and accessories are placed on metal carrying members of container. at least two levers are installed in upper portion of central support members intended for straddling the articles by their inner sides. Outer sides of levers serve to form seats for accessories or other complementary articles. One of levers of support member is made fork-shaped to receive other lever and is provided with projection for engagement with accessories or complementary articles. Fixing members located on detachable supports installed on container housing have threaded surface with adjusting and locking members fitted on. Gaskets made of soft materials are placed on working surfaces of support members, levers and threaded fixing members. Width of working portion of support members is less than width of article seating member. EFFECT: reduced labour input in stowing and taking out the articles, enlarged operating capabilities, prevented axial displacement of articles installed in central supports. 3 cl, 6 dwg
