FIELD: heating technology. SUBSTANCE: radiator consists of finned pressed tubes 1 which are connected with upper and lower headers 2 by means of nipples 3; threaded section 4 of nipple 3 is mounted in threaded holes 5 of headers; cylinders portion provided with L-shaped groove 6 is pressed in finned tubes 1; groove 6 is filled by metal of tube to depth corresponding to amount of interference fit which defines depth of groove 6. Besides that, before pressing nipple 3, seal 8 is fitted on its cylindrical portion which is received by cavity formed by L-shaped bore 7 in base of headers, cylindrical surface of nipples 3 and end surface of tubes 1. Construction provides for redistribution of forces acting in pressing, thus protecting the thread against mutilation. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability. 2 dwg
