CALORIMETER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2073886 C1

FIELD: nuclear physics, measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: calorimeter has several layers of absorbing material placed parallel one to another in consecutive order and each layer has electroconducting greed contact. Beyond last layer of every group of absorbers secondary electron multipliers are placed in series. Every layer of absorber is made from absorbing plates capable to emit secondary electrons and it is placed under some angle with respect to absorbing layers plane. Full heat release of particles absorption in layers is determining by common charge metering which was created by secondary electrons emission of laminating calorimeters of absorption layers. EFFECT: more accurate measuring of particles full energy release in absorbers. 3 dwg
