FIELD: acceleration engineering.

SUBSTANCE: calorimeter can be used for operation with intensive flows of particles in strong magnetic fields. Detectors are mounted in electromagnet calorimeter among layers of absorber which layers are disposed in parallel to bundle of particles. Detectors are made on the base of diamond films. Outputs of detectors are connected with inputs of adders. Uniformity of response can be improved depending on angle of entrance of particles relatively axis of spectrometer and influence of magnetic field can be eliminated.

EFFECT: improved power resolution; improved radiation resistance; higher speed of operation.
