FIELD: methods for production of catalyst for redox processes. SUBSTANCE: method includes dry mixing of initial components, molding, hydrothermal and heat treatment of granules. Prior to extrusion molding, catalytic mass is plasticized with aqueous solution of boric acid or boric acid and surfactant, or boric acid and ammonia, or boric acid, ammonia and surfactant with preset ratio of components and solution-liquid ratio. Besides, depending on used plasticizer extrudants are somewhat dried out or dried normally under preset conditions. Final heat treatment of granules is carried out at 40-650 C. Surfactants are used in form of water-soluble nonionic surfactants containing hydrophylic groups OH or COOH or CHO or NH2. The method provides for obtaining catalyst with high characteristics: reduced bulk density by 19-4444; 1.2-3-fold increase of porosity increased activity by 6-81%; 2-3-fold rise of the process efficiency, reduced power consumption by 30-40% and enhanced saving of resources due to reduced number of equipment components involved in the process, reduced or excluded some kinds of materials.
