FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method is effected by firing in shaft furnace of fuel-containing wastes and nonfuel-containing raw material components. Fuel-containing waste is preliminarily mixed with mineral containing nonfuel raw material components for regulation of chemical composition of building material and regulation of fuel in raw material. Then, raw material mixture is granulated, and firing is effected in shaft furnace provided with burners which are used for maintaining the preset temperature conditions with consideration of fuel content in the raw material mixture. Method allows use of raw material with variable fuel content, particularly, various building materials depending on the composition of fuel-containing wastes, realization of stable and especially favorable temperature conditions of firing and as a result, higher quality of products.
