FIELD: resistivity well logging. SUBSTANCE: well electromagnetic thickness gage/flaw detector has generator system with generator induction coils, two-pole generator and timer, measuring system with measuring inductive coils and preamplifier, well amplifier connected to signal transmitting unit. Interconnected surface amplifier and control unit connected stroboscopic unit, unit of signal selection and storage, analog-to-digital converter, digital register are put on outputs of the signal transmitting cable. The device additionally has automatic amplification switch, integrator comprising a set of resistors, commutation electronic switches, operation amplifier and capacitor with voltage reset switch. Number of winds and parameters of generator cores and measuring induction coils are chosen in such a manner to prevent transient decay time from exceeding 2•10-4sec. EFFECT: higher accuracy. 1 dwg
