SUBSTANCE: induction motor rotor has shaft 1 that mounts rigidly fixed core 2 whose slots accommodate winding base 3 electrically interconnected by end rings with splits between pairs of adjacent bars 3. Splits expand toward center of rotor revolution, and in their upper part they mounted changeable members of starting resistor 5. Ring 6 rigidly fixed on shaft 1 has insulator and guides 7 with movable contacts 8 and reset members 9 mounted on them for radial displacement opposite to splits. EFFECT: enlarged variation range of induction motor starting torque to comply with transient characteristics of particular drive. 6 cl, 6 dwg
