FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric machine engineering, namely to design of asynchronous electric motors with squirrel-cage rotor and can be used in electric drives of various purpose at rotation speed up to 8,000 rpm. Asynchronous motor short-circuited rotor contains ferromagnetic core, in slots of which there are rods 2 of winding, which have cross-section shape, tapering to rotor axis. Ends of rods are pressed by binding rings 4 in open radial slots made in short-circuiting rings 3. Rods and short-circuiting rings are pressed from the ends by resilient elements fixed on the rotor shaft.
EFFECT: increased reliability of rotor operation at high speeds of rotation.
