FIELD: protection of clothing and equipment against excessive heating. SUBSTANCE: method of protection of clothing and equipment elements against excessive heating at contact with objects located in the zone of high temperatures consists in the fact that at least one safety block is secured on the surface of the clothing or equipment element facing the heated object. The block is made either of a hollow load-bearing element, whose cavity is filled with heat-absorbing substance, or of a monolithic load-bearing element with a capsule with heat-absorbing substance that is movable-joined to it by means of a heat-conducting link. A shape providing the minimum area of contact of the load-bearing element with the heated object is preliminarily imparted to it. The load-bearing material is made of firm material with a high thermal diffusivity. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 13 dwg
