FIELD: printers, typewriting machines, telegraph apparatuses and other printing devices information printing out. SUBSTANCE: Printing device allows to use one electric motor to provide carriage movement, paper motion and inking ribbon continuous motion. Mounted in printing device clock does not load gear-belt transmission, that allows to increase reliability of printing device and to decrease power consumption. Printing device has body with fixed on it electric drive, paper carrying shaft, carriage with printing head. Electric drive body of printing device has cantilever with fixed on it light-emitting diode and photodiode, in slit between which shutter enters. Shutter is fixed on carriage body and determines beginning of printing line. Disk is mounted on shaft of electric motor. Its grooves are engaged with its pair of light-emitting diode and photodiode an realize control of printing members operation. EFFECT: increased reliability and deceased power consumption. 2 cl, 4 dwg
