FIELD: mining industry; applicable in operative recording of relative displacement of rocks of roof and floor in worked out spaces with enough reliability. SUBSTANCE: device for remote recording of displacement of roof and floor rocks has wheel with teeth installed on the end of spring, and cylinder connected with shaft through reducing gear with strip chart attached to the cylinder, and recorder stylus moving over the strip chart in horizontal plane. Stylus is connected with rope bending round the block of tensioning device. Rope ends are wound and secured onto small diameter drum rigidly connected with large diameter drum. Both drums are located on the axle connected with large diameter drum by means of spiral spring. Large diameter drum is connected with wheel having teeth by means of rope. Device is fastened onto transportation car provided with tail and head ropes. Device may move along the face to both sides with the help of mechanized drive located in working adjacent to the face.
