FIELD: control of shearers. SUBSTANCE: system has reversible variable capacity pump, hydraulic motor, make-up system, regulated throttles for adjustment of speed of shearer feed to face and its withdrawal back, riding cutoff and control valves, pilot controlled check valve and check and safety valves. Included in parallel to pressure line of hydraulic motors are safety valves, one of which is adjusted for pressure exceeding the nominal working pressure, while the other is adjusted for abnormally low pressure. Installed before the second safety valve is reducing valve, and their outlets are connected with each other through check valve and with control lines of control and riding cutoff valves.
