FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: speed is regulated by changing amount of starting fuel. Required amount of liquid fuel is set by changing delivery of gas on condition that there should be no mismatch between actual and desired amounts of starting fuel. Regulation of gas delivery is provided at the rate two-fold slower than regulation of fuel delivery at positive mismatch, and with maximum attainable quick acting at negative mismatch between actual and desired amount of starting fuel.
