FIELD: modification of synthetic fibers. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed process modification of synthetic fibers is conducted by activation of surface of fibres with hydrogen peroxide in presence of copper sulfate and subsequent grafting of hydroxyethylacrylate from 2-9% water solution in presence of 0.8-1.0% water solution of hydrogen peroxide injected by fractions with bath modulus 1:5-1:25. Process makes it possible to perform modification of various synthetic fibres to give them hydrophilicity and decreased electrization ability in more efficient way (no homopolymer is practically formed in process of grafting and degree of extraction of monomer approaches 100%) without worsening of level of properties of modified fibers achieved by known methods. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
