SUBSTANCE: switch has main fixed contacts attached to current leads, movable rollers, fixed arcing contacts attached to current leads, and movable arcing contacts secured on forward-travel yoke by means of flexible members. Movable and fixed arcing contacts form double-break circuit. Yoke opening passes main shaft with camshaft that functions to control and close movable contacts. Force of rotating drive shaft is transferred in fast-break mechanism through control rod with slot and rocker mounted on main shaft to cam of main contacts and to cam of arcing contacts.
