FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: contactor for vehicle control contains a forward electromagnetic drive body, an anchor with a non-magnetic butt-end prop shaped as a conic frustrum, the forward electromagnetic drive coil and a slot-type arc-extinguishing chamber. The movable and stationary, main, arc-extinguishing and auxiliary contacts, the arc-extinguishing chamber and the electromagnetic drive are assembled on a bearing rod designed to be fully moulded and manufactured of a unidirectional insulation material. The pusher slide bar made of a non-magnetic material has a conic concavity on the anchor side interacting with the anchor conic projection. The pusher second end is threaded and in fitted out with a retainer nut for adjustment of the gap between the sliding bar and the anchor as well as for connection to the plug pivotally connected to the insulator bearing the main and arc-extinguishing contacts. The second point of the said pusher alignment is the ring floating slider bearing installed in the indentation in the upper part of the electric magnet body so that to enable the bearing movement in the crosswise direction within the ambit of the insulator oscillation during the electromagnetic drive switching.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the contactor operation due to elimination of tiling and chafing, the contactor design simplification, improved space efficiency and technological effectiveness of manufacture and adjustment.
