FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oxidizing oil residues in production of bitumen. Reactor is made as a straight reaction tube. On its bottom end, 2-6 sections are installed for dispersing, mixing, and homogenation of raw material and oxidant, which are interconnected by common vortex mixing chamber. Each section is made as cylindrical housing with distribution chamber and outlet nozzle. The first section consists of two chambers additionally provided with binary two-channel jet oscillation emitters, the lower chamber being also provided with distribution chamber, inlet nozzle of oxidizer, and channels connecting distribution chamber of oxidizer with channels of jet oscillation emitters. The second to sixth sections are additionally provided with two units of binary two-channel jet oscillation emitters. On the top end of reaction tube, separator for separating vapor-gas and liquid phases of reaction products is installed made in the form of cylindrical housing with distribution chamber, two units of binary two-channel jet oscillation emitters, drain grid, entrainment trap, and inlet and outlet nozzles. Proposed design of reactor makes it possible to reduce duration of oxidation reaction by a factor of 60-180, to lower by 2.5 times oxygen content in exhaust gas, and to achieve double increase in capacity of working bitumen production installation.
