FIELD: fuel production. SUBSTANCE: composition contains, as basic component, a mixture of distilled gasoline boiling off in the range from initial boiling point to 180 C and catalytic reforming gasoline, and, as additive, a methanol/butylene etherification product containing 50-85% of methyl-tert-butyl ether and 15-50% of tert-butyl alcohol with following contents of components in composition: 5-35 wt % of distilled gasoline, 3-15 wt % of additive, and catalytic reforming gasoline the rest. Fuel composition may as well contain 2-20 wt % of a mixture of coking and thermal cracking gasolines at their ratio 1:1. In this case, paraffin hydrocarbon fraction boiling off in the range from initial boiling point to 160 C may be involved in amount 15-25%. N- methylaniline (0.3-3.0 wt %) and toluene (up to 20 wt %) may also be added. EFFECT: enlarged choice and production of quality commercial gasolines. 5 cl, 3 tbl
