FIELD: cable manufacture. SUBSTANCE: drawing emulsion containing oleic acid, triethanolamine, spindle oil and water is prepared with following proportion of components per cent by means: spindle oil 16.0-18.0; oleic acid 2.0-2.5; triethanolamine 0.5-1.0; water 78.5-81.5; Emulsion is prepared by mixing of mentioned components till homogeneous composition is obtained. Water is heated to 50-60 C in advance. Drawing is carried out with rate of 200.0 m/min. EFFECT: increased productivity, improved quality of power cable with plastic insulation. 1 dwg
