FIELD: sports equipment. SUBSTANCE: ski has sliding surface with flat toe and end portions, and middle portion adjacent to load platform and provided with profiled depression defined by skids with inner walls, which have trapezium-shaped, semielliptical or rectangular cross section, with base defining upper part of section, and with outer walls. Depression is limited in longitudinal section by transverse wall, whose front side is joined with toe surface and rear side is continuously merged with end surface through inclined surface. Boot fastening device is fixed along depression length at opposite side. Through channel is extending at acute angle to longitudinal axis of ski in vertical plane from upper surface of toe portion and terminating on front portion of depression. Tube inserted into through channel has open ends, with one end being positioned above upper surface of toe portion and other end positioned in flush with depression. Through channel and tube provide for filling of depression with air, which is compressed under the weight of skier to create flexible reactive forces effectively reducing dynamic friction force during sliding motion. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 8 cl, 12 dwg
