FIELD: building materials industry, methods of sheet decorating materials production in particular. SUBSTANCE: method provides for application on base of pattern, of several layers of different pigments and drying. In the case after application of first layer of pigment on base surface it is subjected to drying under room temperature for one hour and then painted surface is subjected to pattern embossing. Then the surface is once more covered by layer of other color pigment with following its removal from protrusions. Then the sheet is dried under room temperature till full drying. To increase polychromy and polypattern, cycle of painted surface embossing by new pattern and covering it with other color pigment is repeated several times between drying stages. Due to the operations method of decorating sheet material allows to simplify and to make cheaper production process. EFFECT: decreased costs and simplified production process. 2 cl
