FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: resol phenolformaldehyde resin is produced by condensation of phenol with formaldehyde in the presence of sodium hydroxide at heating. Condensation is carried out up to reaction mass refraction coefficient 1.478-1.482. Then polyhydric alcohol is added and vacuum drying is carried out up to refraction coefficient 1.506-1.520, ethylenediamine is added (2-4 mas. p. per 100 mas. p. phenol), kept for 30-40 min and furfuryl alcohol is added. Compression strength of the obtained hardened resin is 34.3-39.6 MPa. Resin is used in mining works. EFFECT: improved method of resin producing, enhanced quality and safety. 1 tbl
