FIELD: methods of offshore natural gas production and transportation from large depths in cases when lifting of gas to the surface through pipeline is difficult. SUBSTANCE: gas source is used in form of bottom gas flows above bottom gas liberation area. Gas is collected by means of dome-shaped gas collector which is installed on the surface of gas liberating area of sea bottom. As gas liberating areas in their majority are located at large depths (down to 2000 m and more), gas is transported to the sea surface by means of gasholder vans. Preferably, prior to transportation gas is liquefied by final compression. Gas liquefying is facilitated due to the fact that pressure at large depths from which gas is produced is high (up to 20 MPa and over). EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
