FIELD: geodetic instrumentation engineering, determination and correction of i angle in geodetic levels of all types. SUBSTANCE: scale is attached to objective lens of each geodetic level, elevation screw of one geodetic level is used to set reading on scale of the other one. Geodetic levels change places and readings are taken by scales. Average value of readings by its scale is calculated and average reading on each scale is set by elevation screw and images of ends of cylindrical level are matched with the aid of vertical correction screws.
