FIELD: geodetic instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of elevations by method of geometric levelling. Geodetic level has telescope with objective lens and eyepiece suspended as pendulum from cardan, mirror placed at angle in form of objective lens, stopping unit incorporating cylindrical case with electromagnet winding, covers made from magnetic material, magnetic liquid filling case, additional plumb bob submerged into magnetic liquid and made in the form of rod with blades departing in radial direction from its end. Cardan suspension of telescope is two-step one and is supported in bearings. EFFECT: enhanced functional accuracy and reliability. 4 dwg
