FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method is realized with the aid of electromagnetic remote moisture tester which includes power supply unit, electromagnetic radiation generator with variable frequency, amplification- cording unit and moisture sensor manufactured in the form of capacitive transformer which primary plate is connected to electromagnetic radiation generator and which secondary plate is connected to amplification-cording unit. Zero plate is placed between primary and secondary plates. Plates of sensor are positioned in one plane in parallel to surface of analyzed material. Resonance frequency of electromagnetic radiation is set experimentally by change of operational mode of generator till maximal measurement of moisture content in examined material is obtained.
