FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool unit has two end face needle milling cutters that are mounted on the spindle so that their working surfaced should face each other and cylindrical needle milling cutter interposed between them. The outer surface of the cylindrical needle milling cutter is provided with a toothing having hollow and projections that engage the gear surface of a part to be worked. One of the end face needle milling cutters is secured to the flange of the spindle. The other one is secured to the sleeve mounted on the spindle. On two sides of the cylindrical needle milling cutter are compensating rings. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
