FIELD: metal working, namely deburring and rounding acute edges of gear wheels, sprockets, bosses. SUBSTANCE: toothed part 1 to be worked and tool 2 are arranged mutually in parallel. Tool 2 has on its working surface toothed rim with recesses and dents for engaging tool with toothed surface of worked part. One of members of said toothed pair is driven to rotation. Members of said toothed pair rotate one relative to another with multiple engagement of their toothed surfaces. It allows to provide high quality deburring and rounding of acute edges of toothed part. Tool is in the form of needle-type milling cutter whose toothed rim is formed by wire pile material.
