FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: method consists in that straight-run gasoline fraction boiling away within the temperature range from starting of boiling to 160 C is subjected to hydrofining at 330-380 C and pressure 3.3-3.7 MPa in presence of nickel-molybdenum catalyst and then to fractioning to yield fractions with boiling ranges from starting of boiling to 85 C and from 85 C to dry point. The former is subjected to isomerization at 250-280 C at pressure 2.5-2.8 MPa in presence of aluminium-platinum catalyst to produce isomerizate, and the latter to catalytic reforming. A part (10-40%) of the catalytic reforming gasoline is fractionated to give a fraction boiling away from 110 C to dry point. Desired product is obtained by combining the latter fraction (15-40 wt %) with catalytic reforming gasoline (30-60 wt %), and isomerizate (5-15 wt %). Final product is recommended to be supplemented with 1-15 wt % of ethers of C1-C5-alcohols or their mixture with C1-C4-alcohols. EFFECT: improved antiknock characteristics of gasoline. 4 cl, 2 tbl
