FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing high-octane gasoline with low content of aromatic hydrocarbons, including benzene, via fractionation of gasoline fractions into light, middle and heavy fractions, catalytic isomerisation of the light fraction on a sulphated zirconium oxide catalyst, the middle gasoline fraction on a tungsten-coated zirconium oxide catalyst and catalytic reforming of the heavy fraction on a platinum-rhenium or platinum-tin catalyst and mixing the isomerisation products and the reforming products with or without adding various motor components. Fractionation of the gasoline fractions is carried out such that all paraffin hydrocarbons C7H16 in the starting material are distributed into the three fractions in the following ratio: light fraction - 0.3-3 wt %; middle fraction 70-95 wt %; heavy fraction 3-30 wt %.
EFFECT: obtaining high-octane gasoline meeting modern standards.
