FIELD: heat exchange and heat transfer devices. SUBSTANCE: convector has at least one heat-transfer agent circulating pipe on which stack of plates 2 is mounted. Plates 2 are provided with holes having beads 3 in form of truncated cones; these holes are made in area where plates 2 are connected with pipe. Innovation of invention consists in availability of at least two inserts 5 mounted in each bead between pipe and plate. Inserts are made in form of truncated cones; length of arc of each base is less than half circumference of respective base of truncated cone. Inner surface of bead 3 facing the pipe is cylindrical in shape; its radius is approximately equal to radius of pipe. Each plate is provided with flat panels 6 at its ends which are perpendicular to plane of plate 2 and their width is equal to distance between adjacent plates 2. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
