FIELD: "firing device - nonlethal-action ammunition" arms complexes. SUBSTANCE: firing device has a cartridge holder assembly, which may be made in the form of a pack of guides or monoblock unit with ducts, firing mechanism including a hammer pin, whose lateral surface has a zigzag groove engageable with the slide firing-pin plug, and peripheral hammer pins according to the number of guides or ducts. The immobilizing impact-action ammunition has a cartridge case with an ignition device and chamber, which is divided by a partition with an orifice into two parts, one of which accommodates a propellant charge, and the other - the deformable impact element representing a case of polymeric material that accommodated an elastic shell with a viscoelastic or free-flowing material and a pan. Helical lugs are available on the inner surface of the cartridge case on the side of the cut, and mating rifles - on the outer lateral surface. Cuts are made between the rifles. When the trigger is pushed, the slide moves to the rear position, and the firing-pin plug that is engageable with the zigzag groove makes the hammer pin turn until the hammer pin cantilever gets matched with the plane of the peripheral hammer pin. At the same time the sear runs back the firing pin. As soon as the trigger comes to the rear position, the sear breaks away, the ammunition ignition device is actuated by the peripheral hammer pin, and the propellant charge gets ignited. Engagement of the helical lugs of the cartridge case and rifles on the case at movement of the deformable impact element under the action of pressure of combustion products of the propellant charge provides for spin stabilization of the element. In the process of collision of the deformable element with an obstacle the case gets deformed together with the shell and filler, the cuts in the case provide for a definite area of contact.
