FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: semi-automatic firearm comprises rifled barrel (1), breech frame (6), frame (10), magazine (13) in the form of a revolver drum, a firing mechanism, an ammunition supply mechanism. Barrel rotates about longitudinal axis (2) due to projectile movement along channel (4) of barrel (1) with cuts (3). Ammunition supply mechanism is made in the form of a mechanical reduction gear with longitudinally oriented axes of gear wheels (15–16). Driving wheel (15) of reduction gear is fixed relative to barrel (1), and driven wheel (16) is fixed relative to drum (13). During firing, rotation of barrel (1) through reduction gear (15–16) is transferred to drum (13), which, overcoming resistance of locking device (26) of drum (13), is rotated by one angular pitch (φ).
EFFECT: technical result is a wider range of technical equipment.
