FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: device has body with lower tapered part and installed inside this part with possible vertical displacement is vessel for collecting mechanical impurities made in the form of semi-sphere. Body is additionally provided with cover and installed in upper tapered part of it is pipe connection for branching out steam and vapors of hydrocarbon fractions and also baffle lip to prevent discharge of cleaned water. Lower part of cover is made in the form of circular collector and is provided with pipe connections for branching out cleaned liquid and also with perforated threshold. Purified liquid heated to required temperature after flowing around semi-spherical vessel enters zone of rarefaction and vortex flows above vessel which is created due to sharp increase of bore area. In result, vaporized from liquid being purified are water and light hydrocarbon fractions, and mechanical impurities due to gravitational forces fall down into vessel.
