FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of refractory materials and may be used in nonferrous metallurgy for manufacturing casting accessory members being in contact with fused aluminum or its alloys, and also for manufacturing heat-insulating articles resistant to action of fused aluminum and covering and refining fluxes. Blend contains, wt. -%: chamotte, 40-60; alumina, 15-20; cement, 0.5-3; liquid glass, 15-20; fibrous refractory material, 0.5-3; liquid glass modifier, 1-4; and water, 7-11. EFFECT: improved composition.
