FIELD: chemistry of organosilicium compounds. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by ammonolysis of trimethylchlorosilane, the process is carried out at negative temperature (-5-10 C is preferable) in organic solvent. The process is followed by saturation of reaction mass by ammonium which takes place at the same temperature, molar ratio of ammonium and trimethylchlorosilane being 1.55-2.0:1. Thus obtained ammonium chloride as crystals having size 30-50 μм are separated by filtration. Desired product is isolated of filtrate by commonly used methods.
