FIELD: paint and varnish materials. SUBSTANCE: composition has, %: water-diluted alkyd resin, 19.5-38.0; hardening agent - water-diluted melamine resin based on hexamethylolamine hexamethyl ether, 1.5-15.0; neutralizing base, 0.5-3.0; pigments, 5-44; water, 2.0-26.5; and organic solvents, balance. Composition can contain additionally, %: corrosion inhibitor 0.1-3.0 and froth breaker 0.5-5.0. Method of preparing involves mixing part of alkyd resin, solvents and pigments, dispersing the pigment mass in beads mill. Then pigment mass, the remained part of alkyd resin, solvent, water, neutralizing base and melamine resin were mixed. Properties: drying time at 180 C - 30 min, at 170 C - 1 h; elasticity is 1 mm; adhesion is 1 point; oil resistance is 48 h; water resistance is 400 h; moisture resistance is 240 h.
