SUBSTANCE: turbine starting system has quick-acting shut-off valve 1 with drive 12, starting valve 2 which is connected in parallel with valve 1 by steam line, swivel diaphragm 3, interlock spool valve 4, spool valve cutout 5, pump-regulator 6, rotational speed control unit 7 with servomotor 8 and hydraulic cylinder 3. Interlock spool valve 4 is connected via throttle 39 to delivery line 38 of pump-regulator 6, to hydraulic cylinder 9 by means of interlock line 79, to drive 12 by means of line 78 and to protection line 74. Spool valve cutout 5 is connected to protection line 74 by means of line 75, to starting valve 2 by means of line 87 and to drive 12 of quick-acting shut-off valve by means of line 77.
