FIELD: electrical engineering, for protection of joints of external electrical cables to conduction lines of sealed electric lead-ins (passages) against the effect of heat and radiation fluxes, water vapors, water and decontaminants. SUBSTANCE: the device uses a detachable protective housing (cap) consisting of a hollow thin-walled cylinder and a bottom hermetically joined to it, freely secured on rods built in the flange installed at the inlet. To unload the housing from the effect of ambient pressure, the device is furnished with direct-acting and check safety valves. To prevent condensation of moisture inside the device and protect it against water vapors, a vessel with a moisture absorber is installed in the path of the direct-acting valve on the side of the device interior. For protection against heat fluxes (fire) an easily detachable heat-insulating casing consisting of several parts is installed on the casing. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
