FIELD: lamps emitting resonance lines of atoms of halogens or strips of molecules containing halogens. SUBSTANCE: radiation source filling contains inert gas at a pressure up to 1- GPa with an addition of halogen. Halogen and silver salt faced on part of the inner surface of the lamp envelope serves as the halogen source. Depending on the kind of inert gas or halogen, the lamp may emit mainly resonance lines of halogen or strips of molecules of the respective exsimers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
