FIELD: driving high-speed washing machines. SUBSTANCE: inductor motor has wound stator with winding placed on its teeth and toothed rotor; stator teeth are grouped in four poles; axes of diametrically opposite poles are relatively shifted through value multiple of rotor tooth pitch; axes of two poles are shifted along stator bore in one direction relative to those of two other poles through value (m+(0.3 ... 0.47))tz, where m-1,2,3... . Current is supplied to one of phase windings, depending on desired sense of rotation, irrespective of signal coming from rotor position detector until rotor teeth are set against field pole teeth; then current pulses are fed to phase windings according to signals arriving from rotor position detector. EFFECT: improved reliability of motor control. 3 cl, 3 dwg
