FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the head of dummy bar is made of blocks of various cross-sections installed one into another. Cross-section of blocks corresponds to cross-sections of molds. Blocks are installed for mutual displacement along the dummy bar axis. Means for block displacement is made in form of one telescopic bar installed on dummy bar axle. Lower part of blocks is truncated pyramid in shape. Body of each block additionally has retainers of position of inflated blocks and centering devices in form of spring-loaded solid of revolution.
