FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sewer has anvil 3, cover and striker 2 with recess that are made in block and form flexible U-shaped member 1. Plank 5 with a distributing unit is connected with flexible member 1. Pusher 11 and assembly of cramps 10 are arranged on plank 5 for permitting detaching. Expansion spring 14 is positioned above assemble of cramps 10 and connected with pusher 11 and the distributing unit. A portion of expansion spring 14 may be received in the recess of striker 2 or around it. Flexible member 1 and plank 5 with the distributing unit may be made in block. In sewing, striker 2 separates one cramp from assembly of cramps 10 and directs it in the opening in the distributing unit of plank 5. The cramp, passing through the opening in the distributing unit, sews a stack of sheets together and is deformed on the anvil. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 7 cl, 7 dwg
