FIELD: protective impregnation of wood. SUBSTANCE: in order to protect wood, in particular, crossites and bars against fungi and bacteria infest, oil-originated antiseptic with high fungicidal activity and good impregnation capability is developed possessing reduced chilling temperature and resistance to deposit formation. Antiseptic has, as diluting basis, phenol-free and ash-free tar being waste from phenol/acetone production (62-82 wt %) and ethylbenzene tar being waste from ethylbenzene production (wt %). EFFECT: improved user's quality.
