FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: method for processing long wooden articles of multiface cross-section allows for operation at high accuracy as to cross-sectional dimensions not below $$$ 12 and as to angular deviation between faces not below II degree of accuracy and roughness not below $$$ - 120. This is made possible due to longitudinal milling of parallel faces by sets of two milling cutters installed on one spindle through dividing metering spacer. This method can be realized by plane-milling woodworking machine having bed frame on which mounted are horizontal spindle 2, vertical spindle 3 (inclined spindle if necessary) with set of two-end milling cutters and dividing metering spacer, clamping and feed mechanisms 8, basing mechanism and system of collection and sucking of chips.
