FIELD: manufacturing of piezoelectric converters. SUBSTANCE: method involves degreasing piezoelectric element, burning it in modified resin, which is heated above water boiling point, mounting it in housing of transducer or in blind hole of casting mould, generating damper by means of filling back side of piezoelectric element with filler by depth of at least half of wave of resonant frequency of transducer; subsequent pouring binder on filler and final hardening. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
