FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining preceding exacerbation dates to forecast eventual exacerbation dates corresponding to each of them as 91 days cycle multiples. Four groups of dates are to be determined in the annual scale, the boundary dates in each group are defined as boundary points enclosing the most dangerous time periods from the point of view of disease recidivation occurrence. Time period of ±15 days from the median point in determined time intervals being set, medicamentous antirecidivation treatment is carried out and measures of dietary and preventive regimen are administered within time period of ±22 days. The cases of peptic ulcer disease detected for the first time are treated by setting the forecasting exacerbation dates as multiples of 91 days cycle to begin with the first exacerbation date and the antirecidivation treatment is carried out in the like way. Later on, the threatening periods and antirecidivation treatment schedule are adjusted by taking into consideration the results of the observed clinical development of the disease.
